The Fast Assist Endpoint Manager and Client Security agents will be receiving an update beginning on March 18th 2021.

The biggest change you will notice is that when the pop window comes up to reboot your device due to an update, the focus has been moved off of the reboot option. This is so that you do not accidentally reboot your endpoint when typing and our notice pops up out of nowhere just as you are hitting the enter or space bar keys.

The window focus will now be on the drop down menu to select the amount of time to postpone and you will now need to specifically click on the reboot option to initiate an immediate reboot or select your desired time to postpone and click the postpone button.

Other updates related to our Endpoint Manager and Client Security agent are behind the scenes changes such as the ability to establish Data Loss Prevention policies for screenshot prevention of specific applications. For example, we can now define a policy that will prevent end users from making screen shots of PDF documents opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader. That policy can be applied to an entire organization, a group of end users or a specific end user’s device(s) through our Endpoint Manager and Client Security agent.
